1 3/8″ Trim-A-Slab, fits 1 1/8″ to 1 5/8″ gaps. Trim-A-Slab is a press-in replacement for expansion joints in driveways, sidewalks and patios. Made of flexible PVC with UV inhibitors, Trim-A-Slab installs by hand, without the limitations of liquid sealers. You can install rain or shine, hot or cold, on sloped driveways, with no curing or drying time and without having to guess at how much you need. Trim-A-Slab is designed for continuous exterior use, and is rated for +130F to -10F. Trim-A-Slab can be removed and replaced to allow the addition of extension cords and the like beneath it, for your holiday decorations, outdoor lighting wires, or irrigation lines. Trim-A-Slab is available in sizes to fit any gap from 3/8″ wide, up to 1-5/8″ wide. As each size is highly compliant, allowing for +/- 1/8″ of variation, only 4 sizes are needed for this entire range of gaps. Available sizes are: 1/2″ – replaces asphalt/felt type fillers 3/4″ – replaces 1×4 cedar/redwood expansion joints 1″ – intermediate size, in case slabs have moved a lot 1-3/8″ – replaces 2×4 wood expansion joints Installation is the EASIEST of any expansion joint repair. Just clear out enough space to get it seated; no need to backfill to support it in sizes 1/2″, 3/4″, or 1″. No clean-up, no mess, no need to add weed-killers to your driveway ever again!
