The unit mounts easily to wall studs or to the Rubbermaid FastTrack rail system (sold separately on Amazon.com along with a full line of FastTrack storage system components). Designed to hold up to 50 pounds, the hook is equipped with a cast aluminum gripper that snaps tightly into the FastTrack rail system for that particular mounting application. The hook is protected with a soft coating that won’t scratch ladders. And, it folds up against the wall when not in use.
