This Alcohol & Brix Refractometer is primarily for winemaking. It also test the sugar content (range up to 40% Brix) and alcohol concentration by volume (range up to 25%Vol) in the fermented grapes. With a few drops of wine on the testing prism, you will be able to know the brix and alcohol level.

Thus, to help the manufacturer to know the best time start brewing the grape wine.
