About Borosilicate Glass
Borosilicate glass is well-known for its low rate of thermal expansion and less subject to thermal stress. When used as a glass container, it can withstand instant temperature change from minus 30 ℃ to 150℃. It is widely used on premium wineglass, thanks to its low dispersion and relatively low refractive indices.

Tips for Optimal Use
Smooth surface, detachable lid and filter enable an easy cleaning. Dry it with soft towel and avoid contacting with hard objects which may cause scratches. Though dishwasher friendly, hand-washing is easy and recommended.

For filter efficiency, the lid has to combine with the filter to work as a lid for the teapot. It is unable to function as a lid alone, because it is smaller than the teapot mouth.
