Simple to Use 

Loosen screws and grab the two longest ruler arms

Pull both long arms apart.

Grab the two smallest ruler arms and simple glide them across the two longer arms until you form your desired angle or shape.

Tighten all four screws and then hold the tool down with one hand while using your other hand to stencil your markings.
